Follow these tips to really kick start your exam performance:
get enough sleep
Are you an auditory, kinesthetic, auditory, visual or a read and write learner?
learn and understand your learning style and work with this knowledge. For example if you are a visual learner then try colour coding your notes and use different shapes and sizes, fonts within your writing. Incorporate lots of visually rich images, pictures, photos and draw and label diagrams, mind-maps to enhance your unique learning style
have a personal revision motto –‘ little but often’ is better than overloading yourself with mountains of revision at the last minute
be organised – have a revision timetable, make short notes and create quote cards on paper, split your revision into manageable time fragments to ensure that you stay focused
get help – ask your friends, family to help you by asking you questions or repeating the information you have learnt back to them
schedule some tuition if you need extra help and support as this can really help accelerate your confidence, knowledge and performance
know your weaknesses – if you dislike a topic or subject it is important to spend extra time on this area of your learning
try and make learning as fun and engaging as possible to really glean the benefits
